INTRODUCTION!
Me
and my hawk
is a book that will give you helpful tips on how to style your hair. It also
includes many stories about different people's Mohawks as well as a few stories
about mine. Me and My Hawk is a book that helps you! The person with (or
without) the Mohawk.
There
are many types of "mohawks" the one most people are used to is the one
with a strip down the middle of one's scalp. However, there are many, many MORE
types of mohawks. This book includes a small chapter for each type. Such as a
Bi-hawk, Tri-hawk, millennium-hawk (a.k.a. the sun hawk), liberty
spike-hawk...etc.
Me
and My hawk also helps you learn to accept the "strange" or
"weird" looking people with mohawks. It also includes tips on avoiding
certain people who normally don't "accept" the mohawk kind. I like to
call them "the bastards!" just because someone has a
"different" style hair does not make them a villain or bad guy. Most
"mature" (that's what they call themselves) people are
"afraid" of them because they don't fit into their perfect little
world or "society." Also just because someone has a mohawk does not
necessarily mean that they listen to "punk rock;" in fact I know many
people with mohawks that are commonly called "metal-heads"
The
reason I decided to write this book is that lately I have been asked many
questions about my mohawk. I have talked to allot of young kids that want to
have a mohawk. I have told them everything I know about hair and what not and
for some reason I just don't think that's enough.
Although
I have only had a mohawk for a little more than half a year, I still believe I
know allot about mohawks. Actually, I have had two mohawks but the first one
only grew to 4 inches and I only had it for 2 months. But you will read more
about that later...
Thank
you please read on and enjoy my book.
