SkaPunkMusicMan's Review
Wasted time was an awesome punk band & I really enjoyed them but everyone was just sitting & looking at them like "man this is boring, I wish I was at home watching FRASIER!" & at the end the drummer threw his drumstick at the audience & I caught one. Then this band Stud came on; there a group of 3 fat Mexicans that aren't so great at playing punk. But I was still trying to enjoy them. Then one of my new favorite bands The Phoenix City Ska Ambassadors Came On Man There Allot Fun! when they first came on I said "Hey!, will you guys play 'Let's Eat'" & the lead singer/saxophone player said "sure Dude" so it was there closing song I was very excited. Oh & at the end of there show they said "hey if you want to buy are merchandise you can buy it at the corner of the stage." So I went to the end of the stage but I only had $3 so I said "Hey Dude what can I get for $3!" & everyone in line laughed at me. But then the dude said "tell you what, I'll cut you a deal; since YOUR THE ONLY ONE WHO SEEMS TO KNOW US! you can get a patch for $3" Then a band called Step Lively they were a real rocking band from new York. Man they rocked Allot of people were jumping around & moshin & stuff. The Bass player for Wasted time Saw me banging my head & putting up the rock sign & yelling "YOU GUYS ROCK!" & he came over to me & was like "dude your awesome, Keep rocking out dude". Then at midnight The Toasters Finally Came On; it was the coolest thing I have ever seen the whole entire club was skanking & singing & skanking it was amazing! for a whole hour people just skanked. BUT! it kind of sucked cause suddenly after the second song I got this humongous pain in my foot; & I couldn't skank, jump, mosh or even walk. so for the rest of the show I sat on the bass amp next to the band yelling "YOU GUYS ROCK!"
PS - I Only Brought $15 & Got 2 Posters, 1 Drumstick, 1 Patch & I Got To See 5 Bands For $15. pretty sweet deal huh?
