SkaPunkMusicMan's Review

AFI - Was good better then the phoenix show but me and Rachel sat out for them. Distillers - was the very first band that played so we missed them. I was very disappointed. Fenix TX - I don't remember them playing oh well. H20 - was allot better then I was expecting! seriously they ROCK! they did a big speech thing on being straight edge and how Utah gets a bad rep for the stupid straight edge kids and the crowd got really riled up for EVERY song. Man those Utah kids have sooo much energy. probably cause no one smokes. Less Than Jake - the band was having allot of fun and playing a good set and even said SLC is there favorite place to play. but there was more moshing during less than Jake then during any of the other bands I swear. Me First and The Gimme Gimmes - It was fun being in a spot this time were I could actually have fun during Me first. they were allot of fun and closed with a cover of Elton johns Rocket man. Rancid - Me and Rachel were sooooooo worn out during rancid. ahh man it sucked. we ate pizza and listened to them play and I sang along to every lyric. oh and they actually played something from the first self titled this time. They played Rejected (which is the song lena wanted them to play during AZ) and rats in the hallway. 311 - There were a TON of people there for 311 it was CRAZY! but Rachel and I didn't care. Bouncing souls - they played right when we got in. it was allot more fun because there weren't a Billion crowd surfers and because once again everyone had TONS of energy. hahaha the funny thing is that they played Hopeless romantic twice. I think I was the only one that noticed that. but oh well. Guttermouth - I don't know why I didn't stay for there whole show but I saw most of it. they rocked and the crowd really enjoyed them but (I wasn't there to hear this) I guess they made fun of SLC and Mormons but I don't know. Kool Kieth - oh man I felt so sorry for them. no one was watching his set and since hardly anyone was smoking he didn't get a good crowd response when he's like "LEGALIZE YO GET OUT YOUR WEED AND LEGALIZE!" but me and Rachel watched him for a little while. Oh and he got so pissed at the crowd because people were either booing or not watching him and he was like "YO WHY YOU HAVE TO BE LIKE THAT SLC! YOU GUYS F***ING SUCK YO LATER!" then his dj was like "WE STILL HAVE 10 MINUTES LEFT SO IF YOU WANT KOOL KIETH TO COME BACK REPEAT AFTER ME...WHEN I SAY KOOL YOU CAY KIETH! KOOL-KIETH KOOL-KIETH!" then he came back out played one more song and then left. Pennywise - me and Rachel found a HUGE water jug, filled it with water then sat down for pennywise. Pressure 4-5 - who the heck are they? The Ataris - hahaha no one liked the ataris they played in the middle and no one was watching it seemed like. me and Rachel were watching the yahoo drinking contest then. The Vandals - WERE AWESOME! I can not say this enough the vandals rocked! and the crowd Was so fun and energetic and dorky it was so great! ahhh man I loved the vandals set and when they played there long version of I have a date the guitar player got down to his neon underwear and danced and did some exercising and they did this thing were the band plays and he yells nothing and they stop and then he yells something and the start again it was great! Alien Ant Farm - I guess there was allot of AAF fans there but I don't remember them playing. Black Halos - Who the heck are they? Body Jar - Who the heck are they? Good Charlotte - played really early like right after the distillers so I missed them oh well THEY SUCK! Hank 3 & Assjack - Who the heck are they? Liars inc. - Who the heck are they? Slightly Stoopid - I didn't know they played either I really want to see them. The Apex Theory - Who the heck are they? Madcap - where were they playing? Deviates - were one of the openers as well. Downway - Who the heck are they? Esham - Who the heck are they? Lawrence Arms - I wanted to see them but Rachel didn't so I didn't. DARN IT! Pepper - Who the heck are they? & The Line - where did they play? I didn't see them either.
